Jamie Bustamante, PhD

Program Director at KindlyMD, Jamie is a licensed psychologist with 17 years of diverse experience within non-profit, hospital, community & private mental healthcare. In addition to her work with KindlyMD, Jamie works in private practice with an emphasis on treating substance abuse disorders, PTSD & sexual trauma. She is passionate about improving mental health and the quality of life for members of her community. In this quest, Jamie has presented to numerous community organizations and has provided crisis intervention training to first responders, physicians & mental health professionals.

While we do offer telemedicine visits for our patients, certain KindlyMD programs may require a face-to-face visit to establish care.

What therapies do KindlyMD therapists use to create mental health treatment plans?

KindlyMD therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), cognitive therapy (CT), prolonged exposure therapy (PE), brief eclectic psychotherapy (BEP), and narrative exposure therapy (NET). They’re also well versed in ACT, EFT, IFS, mindfulness, and expressive therapies, just to name a few.
